Patrick Mbagwu is the Head of Human Resources. With a B.Sc. in Sociology and an MSc in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. Patrick is a distinguished member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (MCIPM) and holds the title of Senior Professional, Human Resources International (SPHRi).

Patrick’s career spans over 23 years in Human Resources Management across various sectors, including Manufacturing, Banking, and Pensions. His journey includes significant roles in Diamond Bank PLC, such as Head of Business Partnering, Head of HCM Shared Services, and the pioneer Head of HCM at Diamond Pension Funds
Custodian Limited. He has also served as HR Coordinator for West African Francophone subsidiaries and Head of Outsourcing Services.

Prior to his current position, Patrick played a pivotal role in Access Bank after the merger with Diamond Bank, serving as the Team Lead for the Retail School of Banking Excellence.
